No es algo nuevo, pero en los últimos años se han popularizado los vídeos que muestran tutoriales de cómo usar un determinado programa, grabando en tiempo real las acciones que realiza el usuario en el ordenador, y añadiendo incluso el audio de sus comentarios.
Los vídeos resultantes se denominan genéricamente Screencasts. Hay una gama variada de programas para poder realizar estas grabaciones, algunos de ellos gratuitos. La ventaja es que los archivos de video resultantes están disponibles en diversos formatos, según el uso que les queramos dar.
